Entertainment System Nes
Did Japan ever get the Nintendo Entertainment System?
They had the Famicom.
Did they ever change the console? The controllers were connected to the console, and the wires were short, right? Did they change that?
Or,did Japan ever get the US NES? I doubt it,just like NA didn't get the Famicom.
They did change it , but they never had the US console (they made the N.E.S mini)
And to confiscate for the short wires they had the Nintendo Satellite for the Wireless controllers.

It's hard to believe that it's been 20 years since I got my Sega Genesis. Things have come a really long way since then, but that doesn't stop the Sega from beholding the classic status that it still warrants today.
Sega's Genesis was a one up to the Nintendo Entertainment system, which changed the way the world played games and brought an accessible system to the mainstream.
The Genesis had 16 bit graphics, twice as many as the NES's 8 bit system. This marked an improved quality of graphics and the ability to enjoy more intricate game play.
One very memorable game was Altered Beast, which came with many consoles when purchased. This was a role playing game that saw you fighting off creatures while advancing to the many different levels.
The motion present in the game was clearly superior to that of Nintendo's, and it was a great introduction to the next generation of game consoles.
Another classic game was Streets of Rage, which was a street fighting game that saw you rummaging through the streets of dangerous neighborhoods to rescue people in threatening situations.
You had a few different fighters to choose from, each of them having different strengths. In addition, there were weapons you could pick up along the way, giving you an edge when it came to fighting.
Last but not least is my favorite sports game on the console. NBA Jam was an unconventional basketball game that worked an arcade type feel into the mix.
This brilliant basketball game was played in two on two format, and gave you the ability to perform acrobatic dunks and jumps, in addition to catching fire. Everything about it was extremely fun, and the game play at the time was more advanced than anything we had ever seen before that.
Oh, the warm memories these games all bring back!
